Invisible Scream

Invisible Scream

Synopsis:

Katia, a young blind woman, works as a lawyer in the gender department of the Ministry of Justice in Panama. On her way to work, Katia listens to an audiobook and identifies with the story.

This audiobook was recorded by a group of women completing a diploma in audiovisual production. As part of the diploma activities they are required to complete, their tutor suggests they interview a blind person, Katia.

Katia’s harrowing testimony connects the women with their own personal experiences, triggering a brutal catharsis within the group.

Despite her wishes, the interview ends with the arrival of the guards, and like every afternoon, the women have to return to their prison cells.
